Happy New Years Eve. It’s finally going to be 2012.

I know I said I was going to get this to you earlier, but I ended up going back to Montana for Christmas, so it got delayed. Here it is.

The new LP “SOLIPSISM” is out in two days!

Yeah, yeah, I know I was going to make it an EP. Well guess what, once again the time ran longer than I thought, so you get the second LP of the year in 2 days!

Here’s the art.

I had to do it. I’m thankful for my loving family, the friends I’ve had, and the fact that people around this world are finally starting to realize shit is fucked up.

One last song from the EP to listen to before it drops. Hope all you fuckers like!

4 to 6 Track EP will drop in a couple days.

Going to at least get an EP released since I promised you something that entire time in Montana and didn’t get anything out in time. So…in a few days. You get an EP.

paperandtwine:

paper and twine - issue no. 11 - 11.27.11
This issue has become an unintentionally themed/dedication(?) issue. Pow Wow’s and Pretending Dumb (a short story by John Cardoso) is concluded in this issue and I also wanted to do a decent Interview with Johnny who just launched his new site The Canvas, THEN I came across a picture of him in a roll of 35mm I just got developed. So here’s to you Johnny.

Just found out today that Simar over at Paper and Twine slapped my face on the cover of the latest issue, along with an interview. Paper and Twine, a zine publication here in Seattle, has been featuring a few of my short stories in past issues, and this time he interviewed me about my Rawspine label and my music, media and arts blog The Canvas. So be sure to get it when it comes out on the 27th!
If you don’t dig the Taz beanie you’re ‘tarded.

Back to the drawing board for the new album.

Considering I haven’t gotten much recording done these past three months in Montana, I’ve decided that I’m taking the next album back to the drawing board. Scrapping some lyrics, thinking of new ideas for songs. I’ve really only gotten about 4 or 5 songs I’ve finished since I’ve been here, and they’re not quite up to par with what I want.

Hey, sometimes it’s just necessary to do so.

The album is also not going to be called “MILE HIGH CLUB”, but I’m scrapping that as well. Why, you ask?
I was originally going to call it Mile High Club because I had planned on recording it in Butte, Montana (my hometown, and where I am right now, I’ll be back in Seattle the second week of November), which has a slogan “A MILE HIGH. A MILE DEEP” referring to it’s copper-mining past and high mountain elevation. Sort of an ode to the place I grew up, all the while absolutely loathing. Now that I’ve moved away, I have a lot mroe respect for the place.

BUT I’ve gotten at least 10 questions in my ask box asking if it’s referring to the Mile High Club where you fuck on an airplane. And then you’re a part of the club.
And…well…no, that’s not it. I didn’t even know about that. Now I do. Pretty dope. But sort of changed my view on having it the title of my next release.

So along with the title, artwork and songs I’ve worked on, I’m going to be reworking it all. Here we go.

THIS ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED BY DECEMBER FIRST. PROMISE.
